Macclesfield Town suffered a 3 - 0 defeat at Home Park yesterday, as a Ryan Hardie strike and Lee Hardie brace proved to be the difference between the two sides. After an encouraging start from Mark Kennedy's side, Hardie was to open the scoring in the 33rd minute with a delicate chip over Jonathan Mitchell. Cooper was to bag his first in the 62nd minute as he fired home from close-range and was to complete the scoring thirteen minutes from time when his long-range effort found the bottom corner, The Silkmen had an array of chances themselves, with Theo Archibald, Joe Ironside and Shilow Tracey all going close for the visitors.
