Coronated with his final regular-season MVP, Jordan dominates.
Early in the 96 Playoffs, Jordan had back issues that slowed him down a bit. Watching here you wouldn't have thought so. In spite of the Bulls shooting woes, MJ's jumper and killer clutch play were rampant. He finished the game with 46 points on a pretty good 48% shooting, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Knicks - who played a well-rounded game. This was New York's 1 and only win of the series. Jordan averaged 36/5/4 in those 5 games.
Mike goes for 38 on a masterful 16-22 shooting (73%FG). Bulls complete the first-round sweep.
Only his 8th game back after a 17 month layoff - here's Mike giving it to Jersey. Yeah he couldn't buy a shot to begin the game, going 1-11 from the field, but that all changed in the second half. Quick. Jordan scores 30 of his 37, catching fire and hitting all net. Chicago wins a close game.
Complete dominance from Jordan here. Bulls win in the closing seconds with Mike's clutch freethrows. https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/198901100ATL.html
Date of Game: 11/8/89 -- 1990 season Jordan scores a quiet 45 points on 15-24FG. Brilliant highlights per usual though. This was also the Twolves' first home game. EVER. Orlando and Minny were both expansion clubs in 1990. Mike didn't discriminate, averaging 40ppg against them respectively.
This was a game that got away from Chicago quickly. Despite the routing though MJ gives max effort and finishes with 35 points (coupled with GREAT highlights, some rare). Apologies for the poor video quality - damaged source tape.
