From 2011 to 2016, Swedish minnows Östersunds FK climbed from Sweden's amateur and regional fourth division all the way to the Allsvenskan, the top flight of football in Sweden. In the 2017-18 Europa League, Östersund defeated the likes of Galatasaray, Hertha Berlin, and even Premier League giants Arsenal. This rise was orchestrated by the management of current Brighton head coach Graham Potter, operating under director of football Daniel Kindberg. However, Östersunds FK's remarkable rise has been followed by a sudden fall, and not just because of Potter's departure. In this short documentary, HITC Sevens takes a look at the rise and fall of Östersund, what they got right, what they got wrong, and how it fell apart in dramatic fashion.
