Notre Dame improved to 2-0 on the season with a 70-61 victory over High Point. Paul Atkinson, Jr. led the Irish in scoring with 19 points, while Nate Laszewski had a double-double with 10 points and a career high 16 rebounds. After trailing at the half, Notre Dame's defense early in teh second half set the tone for the rest of the game in the win.
