What shocks most people with Alabama's losses is they win almost the exact same way - in many cases poor play calling DOES NOT come back to bite them due to holding double-digit leads or whatever side of the ball making a play when game is on the line (like final drive to clinch game against Florida after defense denied the two-point conversion). What upset fans most this game was 1. Number of yards and completion percentage allowed by defense in first half - to a BAD (11th in SEC entering game) Texas A&M offense. 2. The fact that despite playing so poorly in first half, the defense had a chance to put the game to bed and didn't in final four minutes. 3. Play calling on offense was very suspect in the Red Zone.
