This would subsidize his annual salary and not affect the NBA’s salary cap structure. Clay Travis then commented on the Mike Conley trade acquisition by the Utah Jazz with hopes of becoming relevant by adding the point guard to their roster. According to the article, the 57-year old pilot was depressed and decided to commit suicide with an entire flight full of innocent travelers on board. One piece of compelling evidence was a simulated flight in his flight simulator which matched the flight path when he intentionally crashed his plane. Clay Travis also discussed a highly covered Little League brawl following a game in Colorado. The umpire, said Travis, was just 13 years old. While Clay didn’t condone the fight, he shared a personal story from his youth baseball coaching experience with a teenage umpire who told him he didn’t care following a missed call. Not caring while being paid to do a job is unacceptable, added Travis. Finally, Clay Travis mentioned the current status of NFL Sunday Ticket and offered his theory about Direct TV’s exclusive $1.5 billion contract that is up for renewal this Fall. Clay is of the opinion that the NFL is having a hard time finding anyone to agree to the price tag, and Direct TV would much rather lose their exclusivity, thereby paying less for the rights to providing the package.
