It was reported a few days ago that Simonovic had an interest in joining the Bulls for the 2021-22 NBA Season. It now seems that the two sides have reached a deal. Last year in the Adriatic league, Simonovic posted 15.7 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Marko shot 47% from the field and 32% from downtown. This could be the replacement for Lauri Markkanen, as it seems he is on his way out of Chicago. Marko played for KK Mega Bemax, the same team that 2021 NBA MVP Nikola Jokic did in his time overseas.
