This was the Fifth match for both the Highlanders and the Brumbies for their Super Rugby Trans Tasman Season. The Highlanders were coming off a win against the Waratahs in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman fourth round and the Brumbies were coming off a win against the Hurricanes in the fourth round. The Highlanders wanted to win 5 in a row whereas the Brumbies were looking to get their second win and try to stop the Highlanders from making it to the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman 2021 Final. Brumbies vs Highlanders is a match we love to watch as there is a bit of a rivalry there because of the fact that we hadn’t seen a match between these two sides in over a year and the Highlanders vs Brumbies matches are very entertaining.
