The first time me and my friend have ridden our bikes in over 2 years... we decide to embark on an 11 hour bike ride! (It would be a lot quicker if we had actually trained for it) We had a great time on a nice sunny Sunday in Wales. We started off in Cardiff early in the morning by the Castle and headed up the River Taff, following the Taff trail. The first part of the journey is relatively easy and straight forward, with only really one cheeky hill at Castell Coch, which certainly blew the cobwebs out, but served as a good warm up. The best thing about hills is that what goes up must come down! Shot POV style using my GoPro Hero 5: https://amzn.to/2vK6ysn The trail leads us from Cardiff, up near Caerphilly, through Pontypridd, next onto Merthyr and then further up towards the Brecon Beacons National Park. This is a beautiful and world famous area. We pass Pen Y Fan and head back around, down the A470, back towards Merthyr and eventually leading us back onto the track which we follow down to Pontypridd.
