ABSA Premiership Date: 20 March 2012 Teams: AmaZulu 2--0 Wits Venue: Moses Mabhida Stadium Referee: Philip Tinyane AmaZulu claimed three points at Wits' expense on Tuesday with a 2-0 victory at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Usuthu prevailed through strikes from Tangeni Shipahu and Ayanda Dlamini, lifting them above Wits in to ninth in the standings. There were chances early on, with Dlamini and Wits' Mbulelo Mabizela trading shots in the opening five minutes. The hosts gained momentum as the half matured, as Goodman Dlamini, Kagiso Senamela and A. Dlamini all tried their luck without reward before Shipahu struck on the stroke of half-time. Roger Palmgren's charges, who exited the Telkom Knockout at the hands of Wits, continued to threaten via efforts from G. Dlamini, Thamsanqa Sangweni, Shipahu and substitute Andile Khumalo after the interval. There were less attacking opportunities at the other end, with Asive Langwe shooting wide at one stage.
