The Texas Rangers were completely robbed by umpires' slide ruling against the Colorado Rockies
The Texas Rangers were robbed of a home opening comeback win against the Colorado Rockies when Bud Black challenged Mitch Garver's slide into second base. Adolis Garcia would have beaten out the errant throw anyway and the slide was not egregious and not illegal. It sets a bad precedent for MLB if something like this can end a game.
