Gov. Dan McKee gave an update Monday, April 27, on the closed Rt. 10 onramp in Cranston after parts of it fell onto the railroad tracks below. Rhode Island transportation officials still don't know what caused part of an Interstate 95 on-ramp to collapse onto the Northeast Corridor train tracks beneath it, even as regular Amtrak rail service resumed. The ramp from Route 10 North to I-95 North remained closed to traffic as the Rhode Island Department of Transportation worked to inspect the structure and put up new barriers to replace what came crashing down Friday, April 24.
