#bigbashleauge #hobarthurricanesvsadelaidestrikers #prediction Match Details: The 5th match of the Big Bash League 2020-21 will be played between Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart......... The match is scheduled to start at 08:40 AM Indian standard time. It will be live on Sony Ten Network and can be streamed live on Sony LIV. Preview....... Adelaide Strikers will be playing the maiden game of their campaign. They are coming with a good addition of Matt Renshaw, Dan Worrall with Phil Salt, and Rashid Khan continuing to be their marquee players. The addition of the top wicket-taker, Danny Briggs from England’s T twenty blast made their spin attack superior to anyone in the tournament. However, they might experience the lack of a proper finisher down the order with a lack of options during the death overs with the ball as well. Overall, they would like to start their season with a win and grab all the important points possible as they have to wait for Alex Carey and Travis Head to be back to get back that balance in their line-up........ On the other side, Hobart Hurricanes started their campaign in style by beating the defending champions, Sydney Sixers. They possess a very good batting order with the proper finishing skills of Tim David. The experience of Colin Ingram and Peter Handscomb in the middle can outplay any opposition, especially against any spin unit. They got a pretty good pace attack which might become the difference once again for them to make it two in a row in the first two games....... Strikers versus hurricanes Weather Report for BBL 2020-21 Match 5: The weather forecast suggests an overcast afternoon in Hobart on Sunday. The temperature will be around 24-25 Degree Celsius with zero chances of rain....... Pitch Report: The wicket at the Bellerive Oval has been a good one to bat on since last season. It has been comfortable for the batters in the initial period of the game against the new ball. However, it slowed down as the game progressed and became hard for the chasing team. It was a fresh wicket in the first game and expected to be another belter for the batters........ Average 1st Innings Score: 189 (Considering the last 5 BBL matches played at this venue)........ Record of Chasing Teams: Win – 0, Lost – 5, Tie – 0....... Injury and Availability News....... Alex Carey and Travis Head are not available due to their Australia and Australia A duties....... Mathew Wade continues to be unavailable due to national commitments....... Ben McDermott is playing for Australia A..... Strikers versus hurricanes Today’s Probable Playing XIs: Adelaide Strikers: Jake Weatherald, Phil Salt, Matt Short, Ryan Gibson, Mathew Renshaw, Jonathan Wells, Rashid Khan, Wes Agar, Peter Siddle (Captain), Daniel Worral, Danny Briggs......... Strikers versus hurricanes Top Picks for Today’s Dream 11 Match: Colin Ingram looked very comfortable in the first game at the Bellerive Oval. He scored 55 off 42 against the Sixers and is expected to deliver once again at no 3........ Phil Salt is an aggressive top-order batsman who can add quick runs in the Power play. He had Strike Rate of 167.46 in the recent T twenty Blast for Sussex. He has Strike Rate of 188.10 against the Hurricanes in his BBL career.......... Danny Briggs is an exciting international signing for the Strikers. He is the all-time leading wicket-taker in T twenty Blast....... Tim David played a match-winning inning of 58 off 33 in the first game of the season...... Rashid Khan took 19 wickets in the last season of BBL. He is in pretty good form and coming from a successful Indian T twenty League in Dubai........... #bigbashleauge #sydneysixersvsmelbournerenegades #dream11team #unknownfactsofcricket Match Details: The 6th match of the Big Bash League 2020-21 will be played between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Renegades at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart......... The match is scheduled to start at 01:45 PM Indian standard time. It will be live on Sony Ten Network and can be streamed live on Sony LIV........ Preview......... Defending champions Sydney Sixers are taking on the Melbourne Renegades in the sixth fixture of the BBL 10. The Sixers are coming off a defeat against the Hobart Hurricanes in the opening game of the season. They generally failed to restrict the Hurricanes after a strong start and further failed to chase down the total. James Vince showed some form with the bat which is a very good sign for them. Josh Philippe will be under immense pressure as they will be without their captain Moises Henriques up the order......... Ben Dwarshuis will be leading the attack once again in the absence of their big pace attack. However, they need to decide the batting order according to the situation as they possess two huge big hitters like Dan Christian and Carlos Brathwaite who can turn the game from anywhere.......... On the other side, Melbourne Renegades registered a big win against the Scorchers on Saturday. Their bowling has been top-notch and successfully restricted the opposition within 130 only. However, their Batting order depends a lot on the top three which makes Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh play a bit under pressure. Otherwise, they possess a good balance in their squad and look right up there for the second win in a row in Hobart......... Sixers versus renegades Weather Report for BBL 2020-21 Match 6: The weather will continue to be cloudy during the evening match of the day with no chances of precipitation and temperature dropping down to 20 Degree Celsius during the match time......... Pitch Report: The chasing team won the last game with more than three overs to spare shows that the wicket wasn’t that bad to bat on. Chasing hasn’t been easy on this ground and two equal teams coming up against will put up another great show. Batting first should be the priority for the team winning the toss........ Average 1st Innings Score: 173 (Considering the last 5 BBL matches played at this venue).......... Record of Chasing Teams: Win – 1, Lost – 4, Tie – 0......... Injury & Availability News....... Moises Henriques suffered a low-grade left hamstring strain. He is unavailable at the moment. ........ Sixers versus renegades Today’s Probable Playing XIs: Sydney Sixers: Josh Philippe (Wicket Keeper), Jack Edwards, James Vince, Daniel Hughes (Captain), Jordan Silk, Carlos Brathwaite, Daniel Christian, Ben Dwarshuis, Stephen O’Keefe, Gurinder Sandhu, Ben Manenti....... Melbourne Renegades: Shaun Marsh, Aaron Finch (Captain), Sam Harper (Wicket Keeper), Rilee Rossouw, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Beau Webster, Benny Howell, Jack Prestwidge, Kane Richardson, Josh Lalor, Peter Hatzoglou....... Bench: Jon Holland, Mackenzie Harvey....... Sixers versus renegades Top Picks for Today’s Dream11 Match: Shaun Marsh scored a brilliant half-century while chasing a low total in the first game. He scored 62 off 47 and will open the innings in this game as well........ Aaron Finch is the leading run-scorer in this fixture with 328 runs at an average of 41...... Ben Dwarshuis took 3 wickets in the first game and he is also the leading wicket-taker with 10 wickets in this fixture....... Josh Lalor and Kane Richardson took three wickets each in the first game....... James Vince scored a brilliant half-century in the first match. He scored a 41 ball 67 with 8 fours and two six...... Captain and Vice-Captain Selection: Captain Options – Shaun Marsh, James Vince, Aaron Finch......... Vice-Captain Options – Kane Richardson, Ben Dwarshuis, Josh Philippe............... South Africa Vs England ODI series has been cancelled...🤭🤭🤭 Watch the video to know the reason

#southafricavsengland #odiseries #unknownfactsofcricket The One-day International series between South Africa and England has been postponed, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said in a release on Monday. The postponement effectively ends England's tour of South Africa with only one half of the scheduled fixtures completed. "Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have agreed to postpone the remaining matches in the current men's ODI Series. The decision was taken jointly by the two Boards to ensure the mental and physical health and welfare of players from both teams," read the ECB release. The first ODI scheduled for Friday, December 4 was postponed to Sunday after one South African player tested positive for COVID-19. Later, that ODI was abandoned altogether. The remainder of the series, comprising two more ODIs scheduled for December 7 and 9, has now also been postponed. "The CSA and ECB will now work together to determine when the three-match Series, which forms part of the ICC Cricket Men's Super League, can take place in the future," the release read. The first ODI was abandoned after members of the hotel staff where England were based tested positive on Sunday, December 6. CSA also confirmed on Sunday that two members of the England squad had retuned "unconfirmed positive tests." Earlier, two South African players had tested positive on November 19 and November 21 in the lead-up to the three-match T20I series that began November 27.
