St. Louis Completes Successful Road Trip, Now Must Prepare for Mets | Locked On Cardinals

The St. Louis Cardinals completed a 4-2 road trip by taking two of three games against the Cincinnati Reds this weekend. While the offense did just enough in Cincy, it was the pitching that stole the show for the Redbirds. Steven Matz and Dakota Hudson shined on the mound while the bullpen allowed just one earned run. Offensively, the shortstop and catcher positions need to be figured out if the Cardinals are going to have long-term success.
