So today LaMelo Ball played his first preseason game against the Toronto Raptors and it was very disappointing especially offensively. LaMelo Ball did not score in the game, he scored zero points. But had some nice assists and grabbed some rebounds. Now his brother LiAngelo Ball, Detroit Pistons, did not play in his first preseason game against the New York Knicks. So now all NBA fans will be looking at which brother scores their first NBA points for the preseason and also later in the regular season. So who will score their first points in the NBA? Will it be LaMelo Ball or LiAngelo Ball? It could be either one now. Of course though, LaMelo Ball, Charlotte Hornets, will see more playing time and of course he should be able to score in his 2nd preseason game. It will be very interesting to watch. He can’t wear number #3 because that jersey has been retired. The legendary Piston Ben Wallace’s jersey #3 was retired by the Piston in 2016. So if LiAngelo Ball wanted that jersey he would have to ask Ben Wallace. Or possibly pay money to Ben Wallace for the jersey. You never know. Before 2016, Stanley Johnson played for the Pistons and actually worn #3. And another player Rodney Stuckey also worn #3. This is before the Pistons retired Ben Wallace’s jersey. So may LiAngelo Ball can someone persuade Ben Wallace to let him wear #3. Now #3 is very important for LiAngelo Ball’s business and brand. This is similar to how #1 is very important for his brother LaMelo Ball and how #2 is very important for his brother Lonzo Ball. These numbers are apart of these players brand and business. If you look at the Big Ball Brand website, the site created by Lavar Ball, LiAngelo’s Ball father, is selling Big Baller Brand LiAngelo Ball shoes with the #3 on them. The number #3 is very important to LiAngelo Ball. He even tattooed the #3 on his arm and body. But since the jersey is retired. LiAngelo Ball probably pick #34 because the number 3 is apart of that number. So he can still have a apart of #3 on his jersey. Because again the number 3 is a huge apart of LiAngelo’s Ball brand and business. Now LiAngelo has worn a different number once. When he is playing at UCLA, LiAngelo worn number #15 once. Now a jersey number is not the most important thing in the world of course. How well a player plays on the court is more important.
