Josh Allen and the Bills had one of their best performances of 2021-22 season with a huge win against New England. The win puts Buffalo in the lead of the AFC East with two games remaining.
By beating the Panthers on 12-19-21, the Bills will take control of 1st in AFC East by beating New England in Foxboro 12/26/21.
The Bills finally came together in the 2nd half against the world champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14 down 24-3 at halftime to tie it at 27-27 and force overtime, falling just short. Buffalo looked like a completely different team in the 2nd half when Josh Allen put the entire offense on his back running and passing like he was the football Terminator. WR Gabriel Davis stepped in for an injured Emmanuel Sanders. Josh and Diggs both looked like they suffered injures but both played through them. Allen was hobbling after a nice run but just kept grinding. “Yea there was no way I was coming out..” he said after the fake while wearing a walking boot. The Bills forced stops on D, finally ran the ball well, Allen threw lasers to Diggs, Davis and Beasley and they looked like the 2020 Bills again for the first time in a while. Only scoring 3 in the first came back to haunt Buffalo but so did some seriously awful calls against our CBs especially when Mike Evans pulled Levi Wallace in towards him in OT to initiate contact yet Wallace got the pass Interference penalty setting up the Bucs for their game winning score. No flags when Diggs’ shirt was being pulled three feet off his body that would have set up the win for the Bulls at the end of the 4th quarter. Dane Jackson held his own at CB while he and Levi Wallace are filling in for an injured Tre White. Matt Milano was a beast sacking Brady on a clutch late 4th quarter 3rd down to give the Bills the ball back which set up the game tying field goal. The Bills lost yes, but this may be the game that brings this team together and perform like one of the very best in the NFL again. #BillsByABillion
