January 9th, 2022 The Texas Legends played their 1st game in 2022 against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In their 122-105 loss, Vipers Forward, Tyler Bey, had a stand out performance. Putting up 31pts (9-22fgs, 2-6 3pt) 17reb, 2ast and 1stl. In their return to play after a couple weeks off because of the numerous call ups to the NBA, the Legends played well for the 1st half and then, the Vipers put their foot down in the 2nd half. Bey, Former Dallas Maverick 2nd rd pick in 2020 draft, was a monster on the boards and around the paint in general.
