Review of WVU’s Victory Over Iowa State

The Iowa State Cyclones had a three game winning streak on the gridiron over the West Virginia Mountaineers going into the October 30, 2021 contest; with an average margin of victory of over 25 points in those three games. Both teams were coming off important wins. The 22nd ranked and 5-2 Cyclones traveled to Morgantown as the favorites in the game against a 3-4 WVU squad. However, the Mountaineers would not play like a 3-4 team in this game. WVU Quarterback, Jarrett Doege, played his best game in the Old Gold & Blue. Running Back, Leddie Brown, and Wide Receiver, Bryce Ford-Wheaton, also had big days for the Mountaineer offense.
