Baseball: Sam Houston State Recap, April 22

Sophomore starter Cody Davenport sits down with The Bear 91.3's Steve Owens to discuss the Bears' sweep of a doubleheader with Sam Houston State on Saturday. Davenport started game two and allowed just three earned runs and struck out six in the complete-game victory. In game one, Davenport pinch hit and singled to begin the 10th inning. Josh Somdecerff pinch ran for Davenport and eventually scored the game-winning run on a Jansen McCurdy single. The Bears and Bearkats wrap up the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
