Livingston battle to first leg victory!

The Ladbrokes Premiership Play-Off first leg saw David Hopkin's Livingston grab the advantage. Thistle started well, as talismanic striker Kris Doolan nodded home to give the Maryhill side the lead on ten minutes. Undeterred, Livi hit back first through Keaghan Jacobs, who levelled the tie only three minutes later, before Livi grabbed control of the tie. A miserly Livingston defence kept Thistle at arms' length and passed up some golden first-half chances in a breathless half of football. Livi refused to let up after the break, and after some neat play on the right wing, a flying Scott Pittman fired home the winner on the night to give the Lions the advantage. The tie concludes on Sunday, as Thistle attempt to hold onto their top flight status from a hungry Livingston side in Maryhill.
