Xavier Worthy on Texas football's mentality & temperature in locker room after 3 straight losses. Xavier Worthy, Texas Longhorns star freshman WR, talks with Serenity Doulas of Orangebloods.com about what it means to be named to the Fred Biletnikoff Award Watchlist: "When I win it, I'll be proud of myself." says Worthy who always has lofty goals for himself. Serenity also asked him in reference to his tweet where he said he was going back to lab. Xaiver says that means finishing the season, trying to win out. "We're on a three game losing streak. There's really nothing else we can do, we just want to win out and get to a decent bowl game." Xavier also says on the 3-game losing streak: "I'm going to play the same regardless. They're not going to look at your record, they're going at you. It doesn't matter what your record is." Worthy also says: "You can't make the whole team play hard." In terms of the Baylor game, Xavier Worthy said the team actually played better in the 4th quarter. Texas lost 31-24 to the Baylor Bears in Week 9 of the college football season. Worthy said the team was not playing offense efficiently and that's been a major focus in practice this week. Worthy also said the team missed a ton of opportunities in the first half of the game vs. Baylor, opportunities that X says they do not normally miss.
