Nottinghamshire's bowlers fought back from a testing morning session to take seven Worcestershire wickets on day one at New Road. Luke Fletcher, whose economical efforts in the morning session made him the pick of the bowlers before lunch, reaped his rewards in the afternoon sun, removing openers Daryl Mitchell and Jake Libby and enacting a pinpoint runout which sparked wild celebrations from the homegrown seamer.
