Defenceman Erik Brannstrom had three assists for his first career multi-point game and forward Shane Pinto scored his first NHL goal as the streaking Senators downed the Canadiens 5-1. Rookie defenceman Artem Zub added two assists, while Victor Mete, who claimed off waivers from Montreal last month, played a team-high 23 minutes 48 seconds and blocked six shots against his former team.
