The Buckeyes have had some really good dual-threat QBs over the years & Fields fits the mold perfectly. He’s drawn former Heisman winner & 1st overall pick Cam Newton comparisons because he’s a bigger QB and can throw the ball down field. In his highly anticipated Ohio State debut, Fields came out of the gates swinging with a long TD run and threw 3 more touchdowns in the 1st quarter. It’s still early, but this was a great start to a potential Heisman campaign. Fields has just as much hype as the last two Heisman winners & 1st overall picks in Baker Mayfield & Kyler Murray.
