The 2018-19 NBA preseason is underway and on Monday October 1st, the Atlanta Hawks hosted the New Orleans Pelicans at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta's first preseason game of the season. Following the Hawks (116-102) victory over the Pelicans, Hawks forward Vince Carter spoke with the media discussing his feelings on the Hawks first game. Vince Carter spoke on the teams energy on the court, fans supporting the Hawks, the play of DeAndre Bembry and more. Vince Carter finished the night with 7 point and 4 rebounds in 16 minutes of play.
