Joshua Gordon, aged 22, was invited for trials at Premier league champions Leicester City after he scored 11 goals in 18 appearances for Stafford Rangers FC Gordon started his career at Stoke City and has also had a trial with Alloa Athletic, where he was offered a contract by the Scottish Club, but opted to remain with Newcastle Town where he came up through the junior ranks to the senior team.
