Yolanda Gail Devers is a retired American sprinter renowned for her exceptional achievements in track and field. Competing in the 60 meters, 60m hurdles, 100m, and 100m hurdles, Devers is celebrated as one of the greatest female sprinters ever. She won Olympic gold in the 100m in both 1992 and 1996, becoming the second woman in history to defend this title. Devers also clinched the 100m world championship in 1993, making her the first female sprinter to hold both the Olympic and world titles simultaneously. Additionally, she was the world indoor champion in the 60m in 1993, 1997, and 2004. In the 100m hurdles, Devers secured world championships in 1993, 1995, and 1999, and earned silver medals in 1991 and 2001.
