WINDHOEK, 27 APR (NAMPA) - After ending Friday on a good note with a 3-0 win over Tigers Football Club (FC), Black Africa FC turned their attention from the field to help the less fortunate at the Tanidare Empowerment Centre (TEC). WINDHOEK, 03 SEP (NAMPA) - The Namibian netball governing body, Netball Namibia (NN), has vowed to pull out all stops to qualify for the 2015 Netball World Cup. Namibia has been selected to play World Cup qualifying games along with Botswana, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Kenya in Botswana from 14 to 20 September 2014. Only the top two teams will qualify for the World Cup slated for Australia from 07 to 16 August 2015. The Namibia national netball team has been training hard the past two weeks, preparing for the African group qualifiers. Netball Namibia’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Rebekka /Goagoses-Nekundi told Nampa on Tuesday that the players are in high spirits and ready to go to Botswana. WINDHOEK, 13 MARCH (NAMPA) - a soccer match between Orlando Pirates and Tura Magic drew a lot of criticism from both the team's coaches. WINDHOEK, Namibia's Brave Warriors face an uphill battle as they are playing a friendly against Zambia in Windhoek, and their coach did not have much time to work with the team. Roger Palmgren said time is his biggest concern getting the team battle ready for the friendly against Zambia. The match is slated for 25 May at the Sam Nujoma Soccer Stadium in Katutura.
