Nebraska fell 72-66 to Penn State in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament, effectively ending a challenging 2020-21 season. Coach Fred Hoiberg spoke post-game, which included thoughts on Nebraska's first half against Penn State. "It's too bad because we played one of our best halves of the year in the first half," Hoiberg said. While the season has ended, Hoiberg feels confident about the future and shared that he believes a “core” of players will return for 2021-22 and feels good about the recruiting class ahead.
