Goals from James Wilson and James Norwood saw Accrington Stanley suffer a 2-1 defeat at home to Ipswich Town. Dion Charles gave the Reds an early lead after four minutes, but Seamus Conneely then received a straight red card on 16 minutes for fouling Troy Parrott inside the penalty area. Nathan Baxter saved his second spot-kick in as many games to deny Norwood, but the Stanley goalkeeper then sustained an injury and had to be replaced by Toby Savin. The visitors equalised through Wilson on 41 minutes, with Norwood then securing all three points in first half stoppage time.
