NCCU FOOTBALL VS. SAVANNAH STATE HIGHLIGHTS PRESENTED BY WNCU 90.7 FM

Check out the highlights of the Eagles win over Savannah State presented by the flagship station of the NCCU Sports Network, WNCU 90.7 FM. Play-by-play voice Chris Hooks and color analyst Joe Simmons on the call as NCCU scored a school-record tying 28 points in the third quarter to blow by the Tigers of Savannah State 45-30 on Saturday, Sept. 22, at T.A. Wright Stadium in Savannah, Ga. Arthur Goforth was named the A-Plus, LLC Performer of the Game for his 207 all-purpose yards that included a 57-yard punt return for touchdown that put SSU away in the third quarter. Jordan Reid threw for three TDs for the first-time in his Eagle career as NCCU moved to 2-2 overall, 1-0 in MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) play. After the bye week, the Eagles battle South Carolina State in the 2012 Circle City Classic at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. at 2:30 p.m. Tune in beginning at 2:00 p.m. on WNCU 90.7 FM.
