New York Giants MERCH - ON SALE NOW: Need Help With NFL PICKS: https://blitzclips.co/zcode-System Stream & Download NFL CLIPS and MORE: https://blitzclips.co/streaming Elisha Nelson Manning IV (born January 3, 1981) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons with the New York Giants. After playing college football at the University of Mississippi, he was selected as the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and traded to the Giants during the draft. He is the youngest son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and younger brother of former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning. Although Manning struggled with consistency throughout much of his career, he is recognized for twice leading the Giants to underdog Super Bowl victories against the New England Patriots' dynasty in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI. The former, which saw the wild card Giants defeat a Patriots team that was the first to win all 16 regular season games, is regarded as one of the greatest sports upsets of all time. Manning was named Most Valuable Player in both games, making him one of five players to have multiple Super Bowl MVP awards. As the Giants' starting quarterback from 2004 to 2019, Manning holds franchise records for most passing yards, touchdown passes, and completed passes in a career. He also demonstrated durability throughout his career, never missing a game due to injury and starting 210 consecutive games from 2004 to 2017, the third-longest consecutive starts streak by an NFL quarterback. Manning ranks eighth all-time in passing yards and ninth in touchdowns. 2019 Season Manning started the Giants' first two games of the season, passing for 306 yards and a touchdown in a 35–17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and 250 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a 28–14 loss to the Buffalo Bills. On September 17, 2019, the Giants announced that Manning would not start the team's Week 3 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, instead opting for 2019 first-round pick Daniel Jones. This was thought to be the end of Manning's pro career, but he was brought back to the starting line again on December 9 in an away game against the Philadelphia Eagles, due to an injury suffered by Jones against the Packers. During the game, Manning threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns to rookie wide receiver Darius Slayton, but the game ended in a 23-17 overtime loss for the Giants. In the following week's game against the Miami Dolphins at home, Manning threw for 283 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions, leading the team to a 36–20 win. As the game ended, Manning was taken off the field and received a standing ovation from fans who believed this was Manning's final home game as the starting quarterback. Jones returned to action in Week 16 and Manning's season was over. He finished with 1,042 passing yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions in four games as the Giants finished the season 4-12. Denver Broncos MERCH - ON SALE NOW: Need Help With NFL PICKS: https://blitzclips.co/zcode-System Stream & Download NFL CLIPS and MORE: https://blitzclips.co/streaming Joseph Vincent Flacco (born January 16, 1985) is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Delaware after transferring from Pittsburgh and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Flacco was Baltimore's starting quarterback from 2008 until midway through the 2018 season, and helped lead the Ravens to the playoffs six times; during his tenure in Baltimore the Ravens won the AFC North twice, appeared in three AFC Championship Games, and defeated the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVII following the 2012 season. Flacco was named Super Bowl XLVII's MVP, concluding a postseason run in which he tied Joe Montana's single postseason record for touchdown passes (11) without an interception. That offseason, Flacco signed a six-year contract worth $120.6 million, a record high for a quarterback at the time. By the late 2010s, Flacco's performance began to decline and he was eventually traded to the Denver Broncos following the 2018 season after a hip injury caused him to lose his starting position to Lamar Jackson. A neck injury eight games into the 2019 season ended Flacco's year prematurely and he was released by the Broncos after the season when the Broncos chose to start Drew Lock. He subsequently joined the New York Jets to back up Sam Darnold before starting for them as well. Despite having average regular season statistics and no Pro Bowl berths as of the 2019 NFL season, Flacco has proven himself as a better performer in the postseason, having established a career playoff record of 10–5 and holding the record for most postseason road victories by a quarterback with seven. Flacco is also known for having one of the strongest arms in the NFL. 2019 Season In his Broncos debut, Flacco threw for 268 yards and a touchdown in a 16–24 road loss to the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football.[106] Flacco made his debut at Empower Field at Mile High in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears. In the game, Flacco threw for 292 yards, one touchdown, and one interception as the Broncos lost 16-14. With 31 seconds left in the game, Flacco threw a seven-yard touchdown pass and a two-point conversion both to wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to take a 14-13 lead. However, the Bears quickly drove down the field and Eddy Piñeiro kicked a 53-yard game winning field goal, spoiling Flacco's home debut. In Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Flacco threw for 303 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the 26-24 loss. In Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Flacco threw for 182 yards, one touchdown, and one interception as the Broncos won their first game of the season by a score of 20-13.[109] In Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football, Flacco threw for 213 yards. During the game, Flacco was sacked a career high nine times in a single game. In a Week 8 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Flacco threw for 174 yards in the 13-15 loss. In the game, he suffered a neck injury which prematurely ended his season. Flacco finished the 2019 season posting 1,822 passing yards, six touchdowns, five interceptions, and an 85.1 passer rating in eight games.
