After a week in which TCU lost their starting quarterback to injry and kicked off their top receiver from the team, the Horned Frogs just want to play a game and with the Kansas Jayhawks, a team that has not had a lead in any conference game since 2015, they will get their wish. Of course, no matter who the opponent, maybe you need to get your head in the game before you take the field. Kansas is looking for their third win and Coach David Beaty is feeling pressure for improvement. In a game that matches two coaches rumored to be going elsewhere, Virginia Tech (still with Justin Fuentes) and Oklahoma State (still with Mike Gundy) square off near the Camping World sales lot for the 28th Annual Tangerine Bowl. The game matches two hurry up offenses with different levels of experience as the freshman Josh Jackson palms the Hokie offense while Mason Rudolph plays his seemingly 345th and final game for the Cowboys. To concentrate on quarterbacks would be a mistake as James Washington and Justice Hill make Rudolph look while Tremaine Edmunds and the VT defense like to give Jackson good field position.
