Three players reached double-figures for UMass Lowell as the River Hawks picked up a 53-47 road victory at NJIT Sunday afternoon in America East Conference women’s basketball action inside NJIT’s Wellness and Events Center. NJIT (2-8, 2-4 America East) had two players in double-digits, paced by freshman Lyzi Litwinko with 13 points followed by classmate Grace Plummer with a career-best 12 points. Litwinko filled up the stat sheet Sunday, leading the Highlanders on the glass with seven rebounds (tying her personal-best mark), six assists (a new personal-high) and two steals.
