MJ and Pippen won 6 rings together. Now, in Jordan's 2nd year in this simulation, he faces off against his former partner in crime who is trying to win ring number ...
Michael Jordan has made the Eastern Conference Finals for the 3rd time in his first 4 seasons. He'll have to get past Vince Carter though to get to the Finals.
Jason Kidd and Alonzo Mourning have joined a now 24 (soon to be 25) year old Michael Jordan to make a run for Jordan's 2nd ring. We surrounded Jordan with veterans after a lack of them last year...will it be enough? Also, Jordan faces a rookie LeBron for the 1st time ever.
Coming off a shocking 2003 Semi Finals loss in 7 games to the Detroit Pistons, the Bulls have to retool. Elton Brand is an unrestricted free agent and unlikely to ...
In his 3rd season Michael Jordan has led his Bulls to a 61-21 record for a 2nd straight year. But he has a tough 1st round matchup against a pair of players who ...
MJ has made the Finals 2 years in a row, winning his rookie year. However, we were swept by the Blazers in 2002 in a finals rematch. Jason Williams has left for the Knicks in free agency and we trade Peja Stojakovic for Andrei Kirilenko. I'm less focused on getting crazy stars around Jordan and more so the right pieces. We have a core of MJ (turns 24 this season), Elton Brand, Kirilenko, Ben Wallace, and James Posey. The depth of the league is ever increasing and with a big target already after winning a ring his rookie year, let's see what Jordan can do in year 3.
Vince Carter is one of the biggest free agents of all time, refusing to sign with the Raptors after a couple of really bad seasons. He is unrestricted as he got a contract right before the rules changed where 1st rounders are restricted after their rookie contracts. Vince joining the Bulls could be huge, as it's safe to say these two together would be a quite literal cheat code. But we aren't the only team going after him.
The Miami Heat finished 62-20 led by Alonzo Mourning and Jamal Mashburn. We beat them in the 1st round of last year's playoffs but they've leveled up. Tim Hardaway left for Denver but the Heat have added wing pieces such as Doug Christie and have great chemistry. If the Bulls are going to make the NBA Finals for a 2nd year in a row, it's going to be a very difficult challenge.
