The Sharks opened the game very flat mustering only 6 shots to the Kings 10 in the first period. James Reimer would continue his stellar play posting a .920+ save pct on the evening but zero goal support behind him. The Sharks would take a season high 6 penalties killing 5 of them, but served to highlight the tired play. The Power Play would go 0-3 with one of the PP’s being of the abbreviated variety.
