The Chicago White Sox stopped the losing streak at eight games and beat the Kansas City Royals, 7-3. Aside from one inning, Dylan Cease pitched very well. He earned a quality start, which was the first quality start for White Sox pitching this season. Andrew Vaughn was 2-for-4 with 4 RBIs. After hits by Danny Mendick and Tim Anderson, Andrew Vaughn hit a huge 3 -run HR in the seventh inning to break things open. Jake Burger had a big game too, going 3-for-4 with a HR.
