RBI Single from a Foul Ball - Pete Alonso vs Walker Buehler 8/20/2021

Pete Alonso hit a ball off of his foot for an RBI single in tonight's Los Angeles Dodgers vs New York Mets game. In the top of the 8th inning, Alonso puts the ball in play after it bounces off of his foot, and the Dodgers are not able to throw him out at first. Looking at the slow motion replay, this was clearly a foul ball. After a small argument with the umpire, Walker Buehler gets ejected from the game. The Dodgers end up winning this game, so the umpires attempts to sabotage the Dodgers does not work. Walker Buehler has an 2.11 ERA after this game even after the bad call by the umpires.
