Will the Dallas Mavericks sweep the Los Angeles Clippers? | Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard

Will the Dallas Mavericks sweep the Los Angeles Clippers? Thats the question that should be burning in every Clippers fans mind right now. In fact, when it comes to Kawhi Leonard, Paul george, and the Los Angeles Clippers, there’s no other way to say it: Their current starting lineup has been an absolute disaster and is in desperate need of some changes. Head coach Tyronn Lue plans to do exactly that Friday when his Clippers take on the Dallas Mavericks. With Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and even Tim Hardaway Jr. shooting lights out and sinking the Clippers with every shot you have to wonder what the Clipper can do to stop them. The question here is, how sustainable is a 128.3 offensive rating? Well, it’s surely not going to stay at that level all series long, and the Mavs aren’t going to keep knocking down 50% of their looks from deep, as they have been against the Clippers. In fact, only 55.7% of Dallas’ attempts are coming from inside the three-point line, and no team has attempted fewer shots from inside 10 feet than the Mavericks, who have averaged 27.5. To suggest there will be a regression here is an understatement. You can’t expect a team that relies on the three this heavily to continue to knock down half of the looks they get. Regardless of the defense on the other end of the floor, you’d bet on every team to cool down in this spot. Now trailing 2-0 and having lost home-court advantage to the Dallas Mavericks, the Clippers must halt a five-game playoff losing streak dating back to last year's postseason. Lue says the Clippers will show who they truly are with their backs against the wall. While Lue and All-Star guard Paul George said they weren't concerned after falling down 2-0, the Clippers have been unable to live up to massive championship expectations and are staring at the possibility of another embarrassing playoff failure. They blew a 3-1 series lead in epic fashion in the second round to the Denver Nuggets last year in the bubble. Determined to change the narrative around their postseason crash, the Clippers haven't won a playoff game since Game 4 against Denver. The Clippers are the only team in the past 30 postseasons to lose five consecutive playoff games as a favorite. And because of that, I think the question of a possible sweep is a fair one. And in this video I give my prediction for what will happen if the Clippers fall victim to a clean sweep! Don't forget to subscribe! Sports fans are getting out of control! | Russell Westbrook, Trae Young

The crowd in Madison Square Garden was raucous on Wednesday night for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round series between the New York Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks. The energy in New York City was palpable and helped will the Knicks to a crucial 101-92 victory. But one fan took things too far on Wednesday. As Hawks point guard Trae Young prepared to inbound the ball in the fourth quarter of the close game, a person sitting in the second row appeared to spit at him. The 22-year-old didn’t seem to notice what was happening behind him but other fans clearly saw what happen. Another incident involving Russell westbrook caused westbrook to become LIVID after a fan dumped popcorn on his head Wednesday -- calling the person's actions straight-up "bulls***" -- and even LeBron James is pissed over it all now too. Westbrook was on his way to the locker room after injuring his ankle during the Wizards' playoff loss to the 76ers in Philly ... when a fan poured their bucket all over the NBA star. These two incidents point me toward a bigger problem in sports culture which is the crazy sports fan in general! This short will eventually lead up to a full video on the subject! Kevin Durant & Michael Rapaport Private Messages Exposed!
Kevin Durant & Michael Rapaport Private Messages Exposed!

Kevin Durant faces backlash after Michael Rapaport leaves Private Messages exposed. NBA superstar Kevin Durant has been accused of using homophobic and misogynistic slurs in private messages with Michael Rapaport after the US actor and comedian shared them on social media. Rapaport posted screenshots of the pair's Instagram direct messages on Twitter and Instagram in which Durant appeared to use homophobic, misogynistic and profane language. In a private conversation which appears to date back to last year, the 11-time All-Star attacked the 51-year-old actor and sports podcaster with a flurry of highly profane insults. Durant went on to challenge Rapaport to a fistfight on the streets on New York City before asking for his home address. “Your wife doesn’t even respect your bitch ass,” Durant wrote. Rapaport tweeted at the time: “KD seemed deeply in his feelings with the (TNT) crew after the game. DAMNIT he’s super sensitive about everything. Don’t do the interview.” Durant responded by calling Rapaport a “bitch”, a “pussy”, a “pale pasty cum guzzling bitch” and a “piece of shit”, followed by a series of insults invoking the actor’s wife. The 32-year-old Durant appeared to confirm the authenticity of the direct messages in a tweet on Tuesday, then made a tepid attempt to defuse the situation in Rapaport’s Instagram comments, writing: “my bad I apologize”. #kevin durant #michael rapaport #twitter #beef #NBA

Ohio State Loses Three In a Row! Is it Time To Panic?
Ohio State Loses Three In a Row! Is it Time To Panic?

Ohio State loses three in a row! Sunday afternoon brought two teams together in need of a victory, both emotionally and with regards to the Big Ten standings. No. 4 Ohio State (18-7, 12-7) currently sits in fifth place in the B1G, but were beaten by No. 3 Michigan last weekend, 92-87. It was a back and forth battle that wasn’t decided until the closing minutes, but with the loss, Ohio State’s aspirations for a Big Ten title were all but dashed. They then faced the ninth-place Michigan State Spartans on Thursday, who had just beaten No. 5 Illinois two days prior. The Spartans entered last week with a record of 11-9, and 5-9 in conference play. But knocking off the Illini gave them new life, and they started creeping up the metaphorical tournament “bubble” following that victory. Tom Izzo and his gang then topped off their week by knocking off the No. 4 team in the nation as well, defeating Ohio State 71-67 inside the Breslin Center in East Lansing. Ohio State, who at one time was a legitimate contender for the conference crown, are now fighting for a double-bye in the Big Ten Tournament and (potentially) a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament. #ohio #state # buckeyes #basketball No. 9 Iowa (18-7, 11-7), on the other hand, had won four straight games before their meeting with Michigan this week. They were battered and bruised by the Wolverines, and were outscored 47-28 in the second half of that game. The Wolverines had the size to challenge Luka Garza down low, who was held to 16 points on 6-of-19 shooting. And because the Wolverines were able to stick freshman big man Hunter Dickinson on Garza, the rest of the Michigan defense was not compromised on the perimeter, challenging the likes of Jordan Bohannon and Joe Wieskamp and holding the Hawkeyes to just 31.6% shooting from beyond the arc. When all was said and done, the Wolverines had handed Iowa a 22-point loss, 79-57. It was the worst loss of the season for Iowa, and their lowest scoring output of their season as well.

Ohio State Goes Down Against Michigan State! What Went Wrong?
Ohio State Goes Down Against Michigan State! What Went Wrong?

Ohio State Michigan State Ohio State had not won at Michigan State’s Breslin Center in nine years. Facing a Michigan State team desperate for every win it could get to improve its NCAA chances, the Buckeyes knew they would be in for a tough battle. And even with all that going against them, the Buckeyes still led the game most of the way, but their failure to get a made field goal in the final 4-1/2 minutes of the game contributed to their defeat. It was such a stupid controversial finish that OSU coach Chris Holtmann was even ejected in the final seconds. Notable For Ohio State, was E.J. Liddell putting on a show, especially in the second half. He finished with 18 points on 10-of-12 shooting. Duane Washington had 17 points, but was made just one of seven shots from three-point range. He hit one beautiful three in the first half but went cold at the worst times especially at the end. I love Wahington too. He’s one of my favorite players on the team. The Buckeyes were playing without Kyle Young, who averages 8.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. The senior suffered a concussion late in the game against Michigan and did not travel to East Lansing which may or may not have played a role since we lost by 4 and were out rebounded on both sides of the court all night. This also puts us in a position where we absolutely have to beat an Iowa team that just got its brains beat in by Michigan. So theres that as well. For msu, Aaron Henry once again led the way with 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three blocks. Gabe Brown was the only other Spartan in double-figures with 11 points. This also makes the second top-five win of the week for the Spartans, after defeating Illinois on Tuesday. Which puts them back on the bubble for the tournament this year and makes them very dangerous again in the big ten tournament. So big win for them, and bad loss for us.
