Train less to gain more muscle? In this video I discuss how low volume/frequency training can help you gain strength and size when used in conjunction with a high volume training program. This is a very effective method of muscle building for natural lifters. For example, after 12 weeks of 6 days per week training fatigue and muscle tightness may be high - it will be difficult to increase strength without changing training variables. Reduce training frequency to 3 days per week with a full body routine and strength will increase rapidly due to extra recovery. Switch back over to higher volume after you start to slow down and utilise the extra strength gained during the lower volume!
