The San Francisco Giants fail to complete the sweep of the Boston Red Sox dropping the finale of the 3 game series 5-4. Madison Bumgarner got the start for the Giants going 5 innings pitched allowing 5 earned runs on 9 hits, 2 walks, and 7 strikeouts. The Giants made a late comeback scoring 2 runs in the 8th, and 1 in the 9th. Next up for the Giants is the final road trip of the year as they will take on the Atlanta Braves.
