In what was an eventful contest Thursday night at the Gryphon Centre, that saw 11 goals scored in the first two periods, it was ultimately the Ryerson Rams coming away with the victory over the No. 7-ranked Guelph Gryphons on the team's 4th annual edition of "Aggies Night." Despite having Todd Winder record his first hat-trick of the season, the Rams were able to counter throughout the night en route to a 6-5 win. For 620 days, Lauren Ianni and her fellow Guelph Gryphon teammates had to sit and wait to get back on the ice for meaningful OUA games. For the second straight season the Guelph Gryphons are off to the Queen's Cup. Knowing they had over a month long break from OUA action coming up after their match, both the Guelph Gryphons and Windsor Lancers emptied the tank Sunday afternoon at the GGAC in a five set thriller. After taking a 2-0 lead the in the match, the Gryphons ultimately held off the Lancers in a fifth set to secure their sixth win of the season going into the December break. Wanting to build up some momentum heading into the December break, the Gryphons Women's Volleyball team did exactly that Sunday afternoon at the GGAC.
