Weston-Super-Mare v Chelmsford City 20-09-08

Weston proudly announce their unbeaten home record this season before being taken apart by a City side that are only now showing their full potential. From the outset The Clarets create chances to score but are only able to hit their target once in the first period. The second half was dominated by the visitors who put 3 more past the stunned Weston keeper. Even the flying dwarf sprung up from behind a blade of grass to header home only to be squashed by his celebrating team mates. Towards the end the Weston number 2 spoiled an otherwise clean game with a couple of violent incidents that should have seen him dismissed, but the Ref decided to ignore the rule book and instead booked Ricky Holmes for not taking a punch gracefully. Dodgy filming as we were so far from the pitch in what has to be the best behind goal stand in the league. FT 1-4.
