Utah scores 28 unanswered 2nd half points to take down No. 18 Arizona State, 35-21
After falling behind 21-7 in the first half, Utah football roared back in the second half to defeat No. 18 Arizona State 35-21 on Saturday, October 15th in Salt Lake City. Utah quarterback Cam Rising had a huge night for the Utes, collecting 247 passing yards, 59 rushing yards, and three touchdowns. Tight end Brant Kuithe only had three receptions in the game, but he made them count, with two touchdown grabs. Sun Devils quarterback Jayden Daniels passed for two of his team's touchdowns and ran in the other. But all of his, and Arizona State's, damage was done by halftime.
DTR and Charbonnet star as UCLA tops UW 24-17 to stay undefeated on the road
Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and running back Zach Charbonnet were excellent in UCLA football's 24-17 road win over Washington on Saturday, October 16th in Seattle. Thompson-Robinson collected 270 total yards (183 passing and 87 rushing) and three touchdowns while Zach Charbonnet rushed for 131 yards on 21 attempts. With the win, UCLA improves to 5-2 (3-1) including a perfect 3-0 mark on the road. Washington quarterback Dylan Morris collected 184 yards with a passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.
Washington State staves off Stanford 34-31 for third straight win
Washington State football outlasted Stanford 34-31 on Saturday, Oct. 16 in Pullman. Max Borghi plunged for a two-yard touchdown with 1:30 left in the fourth quarter as the Cougars warded off the Cardinal's comeback. Stanford had scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to take the lead after trailing by as many as 11 in the second half. WSU improved to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the Pac-12. Colorado blanks Arizona 34-0 for first Pac-12 win
Colorado football snapped a four-game losing streak with a 34-0 win over Arizona on Saturday, Oct. 16 in Boulder, Colorado. Buffaloes freshman quarterback Brendon Lewis threw for two touchdowns and a career-high 248 yards. CU returned a blocked punt and an interception for a touchdown.
