Why Devonta Smith Should Win The Heisman | Alabama Crimson Tide Football
With the Heisman race coming to a close I pitch my bid for who I think should win the Heisman trophy. And in my opinion I'd give it to Devonta Smith Wide Receiver out of Alabama. Devonta Smith has probably been the most consistent wide receiver and maybe even player in college football the last couple of years. Devonta Smith has also been in the same wide receiver room as some of the Alabama greats such as Calvin Ridley, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs and Jaylen Waddle. Devonta has constantly been putting up monster numbers even with such a competitive group around him. Devonta Smith is one of the best deep ball threat receivers that college football has seen. Plus Devonta Smith catches everything and I mean everything. Devonta Smith has 17 touchdowns this year with 1,300+ yards. This guy can flat out play. Right now he is stacked up against his own quarterback Mac Jones and Florida QB Kyle Trask for the Heisman. After Kyle Trask and the Florida Gators lost on Saturday the Heisman Race has opened way up. And in a season where nothing has been consistent Devonta Smith of the Alabama Crimson Tide has broken through as one of the best in college football. Ohio State Buckeyes vs Northwestern Wildcats | BIG 10 Championship Game 2020 | Preview & Prediction
The BIG 10 Championship Game is HERE! Playing for the 2020 BIG 10 championship title this year, will be the Ohio State Buckeyes vs the Northwestern Wildcats. This is an extremely interesting title matchup that at the beginning of the BIG 10 season, nobody would have predicted. The Ohio State Buckeyes are one of, if not THE most talented team in college football (cfb), and have been for a very long time. The Northwestern Wildcats, however, are a team that was not very good in the BIG 10 last year, but under one of the top defenses in CFB, the Northwestern Wildcats pose a massive threat to the Buckeyes. Ohio State Buckeyes: The Ohio State Buckeyes come into this game with a 5-0 record, after their win 2 weeks ago against the Michigan State Spartans. They had their most recent, rivalry game against the Michigan Wolverines cancelled, due to the Wolverines inability to put together a healthy roster for the game. The BIG 10 however, changed the rules, and still granted the Ohio State Buckeyes eligibility for the BIG 10 championship game. In their last game against the Michigan State Spartans, the Ohio State Buckeyes were short handed, but guys like Justin Fields, Chris Olave, Trey Sermon, CJ Stroud and Master Teague stepped up. Justin Fields, who came off a 3 interception game against the Indiana Hoosiers (which matched his career TOTAL) had a brilliant bounce back game. The defense for the Ohio State Buckeyes is also very underrated. They held MSU to limited 3rd down conversions and forced 4 turnovers. Northwestern Wildcats: The Northwestern Wildcats come into this game with a 5-1 record, with their only loss coming in their last game, which was also against the Michigan State Spartans. The Northwestern offence has not been terrific under quarterback, Peyton Ramsey, who hurt his shoulder in the game against MSU. The Northwestern Wildcats are led by Drake Anderson and Isaiah Bowser in the running game, who have not been able to getting it going for a large potion of the season. In terms of receiving, the Wildcats are led by Riley Lees, Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman, Kyric McGowan and Berkeley Holman. The Northwestern defense however, is one of the best in college football (CFB)...let's see what they can do to confuse Justin Fields and the Buckeyes offence. Put The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers In A New Years 6 Bowl | Coastal Carolina Football
The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Football team have been one of if not the best surprise that college football has had to offer this year. Coastal Carolina led by head coach Jamey Chadwell has been very dominant this season. The Chanticleers currently find themselves at 13 in the playoff rankings. Coastal Carolina has dominated the Sun Belt this year beating Louisiana and Appalachain State who usually is the powerhouse of this conference. Coastal Carolina has another game with Louisiana as they meet up in the Sun Belt Conference Championship. But Coastal Carolinas biggest win came against the BYU Cougars this prior weekend where College Gameday visited Coastal Carolina for the first time ever. The Chanticleers were able to stop BYU a few yards short of the goaline on the last play of the game to win it. Coastal Carolina has been flooded with media attention from major outlets this season due to how competitive and consistent they are. We all know college bowl season is coming up and a group of 5 team is always garunteed a spot in a New Years 6 Bowl. THose Bowls include the Orange Bowl, Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bow and the Fiesta Bowl. This year the Peach bowl is the set bowl for the group of 5 team to attend. Coastal Carolina is currently the 2nd best ranked group of 5 team behind the Cincinnati Bearcats. But I want to see the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in a New Years 6 Bowl game this season. This is Coastal Carolinas best season ever and I believe they should be rewarded. So in this video I give my input on why Coastal Carolina should get into a New Years 6 Bowl. Ohio State has won the the last 8 meetings between the two teams, which includes a 6-0 against Jim Harbaugh, as the head coach. Michigan Wolverines: The Michigan Wolverines come into this game with a record of 2-4. Their game last week against the Maryland Terrapins was cancelled.
