After winning the 2nd division I-League last season, Neroca FC would be playing in the top tier league of the Nation. The brand team from the hills is ready to shock the others after they performed extremely well in the pre season friendlies where they lost 2-1 to ATK and thrashed Sikkim United 5-0. This Manipuri team has also provided opportunities for a lot of local lads to show case their talents. With a bunch a young youngsters the team is also well balanced with experienced players with the likes of Govin and Gourmangi Singh. The two youngsters who are expected to hog most of the limelight are Gopi and Tondonda. FED CUP 2012: MOHUN BAGAN VS CHURCHILL BROTHERS
Mohun Bagan and Churchill Bros. have started their Fed Cup campaign at Siliguri as the green and maroon brigrade have managed to earn a point largely because of their goal-keeper Arindam Bhattacharya's stalwart performence. The match is ended to a goal-less draw but Churchill were clearly the better side of the night. Churchill owner Alemao Churchill has filed an impeachment against the referee as the official denied a clear goal from Beto. Meanwhile Tolgay Ozbey has extended the woes for Bagan as he picked up a major injury in the hamstring and thus goes out of the Fed Cup.
