Louisville vs. Notre Dame: The #4 Cardinals seemed to be determined to send a message to the rest of the conference before the start of the ACC Tournament as they went on the road and defeated #14 Fighting Irish, 86-64. Louisville was dominating in the game 48-6 midway through the second quarter. Louisville out shot Notre Dame 58.5% to Notre Dame's 41.5%. Kianna Smith and Hailey Van Lith reached scored 20 points for the Cardinals. Emily Engstler added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. For Notre Dame, Olivia Miles had the best game for the Irish with 13 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two steals. Boston College vs. Syracuse: The Eagles added another win to their tournament resume with an impressive 91-75 road win over the Orange. Boston College shot a blistering 61.3% from the field and made 10 three-pointers. Cameron Swartz finished the ACC regular season with a stellar performance, with 20 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Taylor Soule added 16 points, six assists, and four rebounds. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons defeated the Louisville Cardinals, 99-77. Jake LaRavia led Wake Forest in scoring with 23 points on 5-8 shooting from the field and making 13-14 free throws. LaRavia added 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the win. Dallas Walton scored 22, Daivien Williamson scored 15 and Isaiah Mucius added 12 for Wake Forest. Sydney Curry was the leading scorer for the Cardinals with 28 point and he also grabbed 7 rebounds.
Louisville vs. Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons picked up another important win as they build their tournament resume, a 99-77 win over the Cardinals. Wake Forest went on a 20-2 run in the early minutes of the game, and they would never allow Louisville to get within six points of the Demon Deacons. Wake was hot from behind the three-point arc, hitting on 13 of 27 three-point attempts. Dallas Walton set a new career high with 22 points for the Demon Deacons. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish defeated Georgia Tech, 90-56. Dane Goodwin was the leading scorer for the Irish with 17 points. Blake Wesley scored 15 points, Prentiss Hubb added 13 points and Paul Atkinson Jr. pitched in 10 points for Notre Dame. The Yellow Jackets were led by Jordan Usher’s 16 points.
The Virginia Tech Hokies pulled out a 71-70 win at Miami on a clutch 3-pointer with 12 seconds remaining in the game. Keve Aluma scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Hokies. Sam Pedulla scored 17and Darius Maddox added 13 points for Virginia Tech in the win. Kameron McGusty led the way for the Hurricanes with 15 points and Isaiah Wong added 14 points in the loss.
The Clemson Tigers defeated the Boston College Eagles, 70-60 in ACC Men’s Basketball action. Chase Hunter scored a career-high 23 points to lead the Tigers. Al-Amir Dawes added 16 points and David Collins scored 10 and added 10 rebounds for a double-double. James Karnik scored 17 to lead the way for the Eagles.
