The Notre Dame Fighting Irish defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 71-53 to advance to the semifinals of the ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament. Maddy Westbeld and Olivia Miles scored 17 points each, with Miles adding 13 assists and 6 rebounds for Notre Dame. Sam Brunelle scored 14 and Sarah Citron pitched in 12 for the Irish. Digna Strautmane scored 12 and grabbed 5 rebounds, Eylia Love added 11 points and Lorela Cubaj had 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the Yellow Jackets.
Wake Forest vs. Georgia Tech: The No. 6 seeded Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets treated head coach Nell Fortner to a birthday present with a 45-40 win over No. 11 seeded Wake Forest. The Yellow Jackets had to regroup after losing Lorela Cubaj to injury early in the game, but were able to overcome. It was a defensive battle, with neither team shooting over 38% from the floor in the game. Eylia Love led all scorers with 16 points on 7-of-14 shooting. Lotta-Maj Lahtinen scored 10 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the win. The Jackets held the Demon Deacons to 22% shooting from the floor, including 3-of-18 from three-point range. Jewel Spear paced the Deacs with 11 points in the loss. Wake Forest's dynamic duo of Daivien Williamson and Alondes Williams were a dynamic duo in their 101-76 win over NC State. Williamson led the way scoring a career-high 28 points on 11-14 shooting.
