As of yet the visitors have kept their grip on the game all throughout the play which the scoreboard is obviously telling us. The KL Rahul-led force are way ahead in this contest as they would need to bag 10 wickets to take an unassailable lead of 1-0 in the series. The Indians have merely put a put wrong in this match. One could question how things panned out for them in the first session of Test but like a formidable unit they have pulled themselves and outclassed the opposition. Like we saw yesterday the conditions have gotten tougher for batting. Spinners are getting ample drift plus the ball is also not coming onto the ball. On the top of it the Indian pacers also have the ability to bowl an unplayable spell on this Chattogram pitch. With 471 runs in the bank an awful performance by the Indian bowlers can only safe Bangladesh here. Or something blissful could happen for the home team if the batters take Indian head coachβs blessings and his prowess to bat rest of the two days. However that is massively unlikely. Stay with us as the first ball of the day will be bowled sharp at 9. Stumps on day 3! Exciting day of Test match which went to India as the home team still requires 471 runs to win on a tough pitch with 2 more days to go. The Indian bowlers did well to fold the Bangladesh team for 150 earlier in the first session and then went on to score 258 for the loss of the openers before declaring the innings. Kuldeep Yadav finished with a five wicket haul claiming 5/40 Mohammed Siraj complemented him well with 3/20 getting rid of the top order on day 2. Axar Patel and Umesh Yadav got a wicket each. R Ashwin has bowled 15 wicketless overs in the match so far. The Indian openers provided a good start adding 70 for the first wicket when KL Rahul was dismissed by Khaled Ahmed for the second time in the match. Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara added 113 runs for the second wicket with Gill getting to his maiden Test century enroute. Pujara paced his innings quite well as the declaration was looming and got close to his own century eventually getting there in 130 deliveries his quickest in Tests so far and coming after a gap of almost 3 years and 51 innings. Virat Kohli finished unbeaten Pujara at 19 when the declaration was imposed. The Bangladeshi opening pair of Najmul Hossain Shanto (25*) and debutant Zakir Hasan (17*) have got a good and cautious start seeing off 12 overs from the Indian bowling attack. R Ashwin bowled the most overs in the 2nd innings followed by Mohammed Siraj and Axar Patel. Star of the first innings Kuldeep and Umesh Yadav bowled one over apiece. The Indian team is at the top of this contest as chasing such a steep total on the last 2 day's won't be that easy and the Bangladeshis will have to bat out of their skins. Round 1 - Jamaica Tallawahs won by 4 wickets. Round 2 - Guyana Amazon Warriors won by 12 runs. Round 3 - ?? Hello everyone and a warm welcome to Qualifier 2 of the Caribbean Premier League. The winner progresses to the final while the loser gets knocked out. It's Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Jamaica Tallawahs. The Amazon Warriors who were languishing at the bottom of the points table for a long time changed their fortunes once the action shifted to their home ground. Their four-match winning streak came to an end yesterday as they were thrashed by the in-form Barbados Royals in Qualifier 1. Have they recovered from that 87-run loss? The hosts will face-off against a team that come into this match on the back of a 33-run win in a knockout encounter. Mohammad Nabi starred yesterday night with both bat and ball against Saint Lucia. Defending a par score in a high pressure will always boost the confidence and Jamaica will look to keep the momentum going. JT have won the title twice GAW have been runners-up five times. Who'll come out on top tonight? Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Tallawahs take on each other in the Qualifier-2 of the 10th edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The Providence Stadium in Guyana is all set to host the big game. The Guyana-based franchise were standing at second place in the points table but faced a heavy defeat at the hands of Barbados Royals in the first qualifier. Since they finished second the Shimron Hetmyer-led side have another opportunity despite the loss in the qualifier. On the other hand the Tallawahs had a good win against St Lucia Kings in the Eliminator. On a tricky wicket the Jamaica-based franchise posted a decent enough total thanks to Shamarh Brooks and Mohammad Nabi. The Afghan all-rounder waved his magic with his off-breaks as well breaking the back of the chase. Not only Nabi but the other spinners of the team also turned the ball square to decimate the Kings for 115 winning the match by 33 runs and surviving the tournament another day. The boys of the Amazon Warriors have played continuously for the past five days without changing the playing XI. The workload factor might occur but nowadays the players are too good to miss out. Guyana Amazon Warriors hope that the decimation against Barbados Royals was a wake-up call after winning four consecutive league matches to enter into the playoffs. Jamaica Tallawahs weren't consistent with their gameplay throughout the league stages. But the Rovman Powell-led camp came into the party at the right time. Although the batting wasn't the real strength the spin trio of Fabian Allen Mohammad Nabi and Imad Wasim were so precise that they were unplayable. Both teams won a game each when they met twice in the league phase. The Tallawahs had the upper hand in the first meet while the Amazon Warriors took revenge during the second matchup. Barbados Royals are waiting for their opponent they face in the summit clash! One spot left for the finals. Who will seize that? A battle between two big Caribbean Islands Guyana and Jamaica rarely disappoints. Barbados Royals vs Guyana Amazon Warriors? Or Barbados Royals vs Jamaica Tallawahs? Only time will tell. Pitch Report | Simon Doull and Daren Ganga: We are on a fresh pitch. We are almost in the middle (dimension-wise). Average first innings score in Guyana this season is 166. This pitch should be good for batting. It looks very good live grass has been trimmed. Expect something for the seamers. There won't be much spin. Batting will just dominate over ball. Dew factor is something you need to assess won't be that significant.
