Hapoel launched an 11-0 run to briefly take the lead, but Mario Hezonja’s three made it 34-36 at the break. The host took control with a 16-0 run midway through the third quarter, and it was 55-46 with ten minutes remaining. Real battled back to 61-60, but Hapoel’s defense held firm to seal a valuable victory. All-EuroLeague star Bryant inspired Hapoel with 19 points and 9 rebounds, supported by Chris Jones with 19 points and 7 boards.
